Medications prescribed by your physician are an important part of staying well - but not if you can't afford them. The Dispensary of Hope - Saint Thomas may be able to help. It is a program that offers help to uninsured individuals who have limited income.

Income Criteria - Check to see if you qualify

The Dispensary of Hope - Saint Thomas receives donated medications from physicians across the region and country. We offer many brand names and generic equivalents so that, if you qualify, you may not have to change brands when you join the program.

Sample Drugs are provided for no charge based on availability. Drugs on the Safety Net Drug List cost $3.00 per prescription. Some quantity restrictions may apply.

How do I qualify?

  1. You must not have any prescription coverage
  2. Complete an application
  3. Bring a photo ID or social security card
  4. Bring any of the following as proof of income
    1. Current Tax Return or pay stub
    2. Social Security of Disability Statements
    3. Student Loans
    4. Dated and signed letter of earnings from employer
    5. Unemployment letter or pink slips from employer
  5. Provide new prescriptions from your physician
