To interview Saint Thomas Hospital or Saint Thomas Health Services associates, physicians or other health experts, consider the Communications Department your primary contact. We are available to assist all news media with questions about our hospital, patients, locating an expert for a story or obtaining more information about a news release or event.
Advance notice of on-site interviews is requested so we can arrange interviews with experts or obtain appropriate patient permission if necessary. To ensure federal patient privacy standards are upheld for all hospital patients and their families and in accordance with Saint Thomas Hospital/Saint Thomas Health Services policy, a member of the Communications team must accompany all reporters and photographers while on hospital property.
Our office hours are 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday with Communications staff available by cell phone or pager after hours and on weekends. During office hours, call 615-222-6859 or email plindsley@stthomas.org. After normal office hours, call 615-222-2111 and ask for the PR representative on-call to be paged.
