Cardiac Health and Rehabilitation

Cardiac rehabilitation is an important step in the healing process, with the goal of promoting both the patient’s wellness and independence.

Cardiac rehabilitation services include inpatient telemetry monitored exercise and/or education for patients with a diagnosis of acute coronary syndrome, myocardial infarction, angioplasty, coronary stent, coronary artery bypass, valve repair or replacement, heart transplant.

We offer outpatient programs for patients with these same diagnoses which include evaluation, exercise, risk factor education, and behavioral interventions.  Our Phase II is a 36 session telemetry monitored exercise program most often covered by insurance.  Phase III is located within the Wellness Center on the 3^rd floor of the S & E Building.
