Integrative Medicine (IM) is a treatment or therapy that is used in addition to conventional medicine. Acupuncture, herbs and supplements, massage therapy and yoga are all good examples of IM. The basic philosophy and principles of IM is a focus on treating the whole person, and recognizing that physical, mental, spiritual and emotional well being are all interconnected and play an important part in your overall health.
Our IM Program helps you access therapies that include Acupuncture, Massage Therapy, Oncology Aesthetics, Yoga health and fitness, cosmetology, and dietary consultation.
All of these services are offered at Saint Thomas Hospital and are recommended for use in combination with traditional cancer care. You should always consult with your doctor about any therapies you are considering.
All of our IM Services are open to our patients, family members, hospital employees and health care professionals. We also welcome and invite the general public. The below list of services are provided by independent licensed professionals - non STH employees. For more information or listing of providers, call 615-222-3234.
